Juan (he/him) is a writer who narrates his experiences, challenges, and feelings as an international student in Canada.
MY BACKGROUND
Before this new start, Juan went to Uniandes Law School and worked both in the academia and public sector as an intern, and later attorney. He coauthored some papers about gender policy in labor law that were cited by the Colombian Supreme Court and published in a law review.
A LITTLE EXTRA
At the moment, Juan is pursuing a Master of Digital Innovation at Dalhousie University, trying to find the crossroads between the legal, entrepreneurial, and technological disciplines. In his free time, he loves to volunteer and discover new places — especially coffee shops.
